The Fund
The LF Liontrust UK Focus Fund is a concentrated, high conviction fund comprised of three sub-portfolios, run by Chris Field and Imran Sattar respectively. Each manager invests primarily in FTSE 350 stocks with the ability to invest up to 20% in overseas equities. The Fund aims to deliver a total return after costs and charges, combining income and capital growth, in excess of its benchmark over any five-year period.

Meet the team
Chris Field and Imran Sattar all joined Liontrust in April 2022 as part of the acquisition of Majedie Asset Management and are members of the Global Fundamental team. Chris has 35 years’ experience managing funds and co-founded Majedie in 2002. He is also co-manager of the LF Liontrust UK Equity Fund and is deputy manager of the Edinburgh Investment Trust. Imran has 25 years’ experience managing UK equity funds. Before joining Majedie in 2018, Imran was a fund manager at Blackrock. He is also responsible for co-manging the LF Liontrust UK Equity Fund. Mike has nine years’ industry experience and worked at RBS prior to joining Majedie in 2013.
