At the roadshow, the Liontrust Sustainable Investment team discussed the drivers of returns for their SF Managed funds over the past year, how the funds are currently positioned, and
how the sustainable themes and the quality of companies they invest in within these themes make the team more excited about prospects for the decade ahead than they have been in years.
The roadshow also discussed the impact of Consumer Duty regulation and the imminent Sustainable Disclosure Requirements on advisers and their clients. This included considerations for advisers when implementing a sustainable centralised investment proposition to deliver good outcomes for their clients.

Meet the team
The 17-strong team has been managing the Sustainable Future funds for more than 21 years. The team is headed by Peter Michaelis who has been managing the funds since launch. The fund managers all joined from Alliance Trust Investments (ATI) as part of its acquisition and were previously running the Sustainable Future fund range at Aviva Investors.
