The challenges of the last year for sustainable investing, including the war in Ukraine and rising inflation and interest rates, have not detracted from the long-term attractions of this approach to investing.
In the first half of the presentation, the Liontrust Sustainable Investment team will explain the drivers of returns for their SF Managed funds over the past year, how the funds are currently positioned and how the sustainable themes and the quality of companies they invest in within these themes make the team more excited about prospects for the decade ahead than they have been in years. The team will discuss some of their sustainable themes, including AI and digital security, healthcare innovation and investing in the climate transition.
In the second half of the presentation, you will hear about the impact of Consumer Duty and the imminent Sustainable Disclosure Requirements on advisers and their clients. This will include considerations for advisers when implementing a sustainable centralised investment proposition to deliver good outcomes for their clients.
